Role and Expertise
Aykut Çakır graduated from the University of North Carolina with degrees in economics and finance. He began his professional career at Procter & Gamble in 1989 and subsequently served in finance and accounting leadership roles, gaining international experience in the United States, Türkiye, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Belgium. His responsibilities included work relating to mergers and acquisitions.
He later held senior finance and administration roles at the Roche Pharma Group, and served as CFO for Central and Eastern European countries at Deere & Company’s European headquarters in Mannheim. His career also included finance leadership positions within Sabancı Holding’s Food Group and Sabancı Telecommunications Services.
Across more than three decades, he has worked in financial and general management, operational finance, business development and corporate transactions across sectors including healthcare, industrial gases, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, energy and automotive. His experience includes assignments in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Türkiye with major international companies.
He serves as Senior Partner and CEO of NMS Consulting, contributing expertise in corporate finance, financial management and cross-border business transactions.
